A huge dream for us this year is to continue to give back to our community through programs that especially work to empower women and bring back purpose and direction to their lives. This is why we chose to serve others by supporting Restored Hope Ministries. This amazing nonprofit works extensively to rescue, restore and heal women and their children.

Who are “Restored Hope Ministries” and what do they do?

The mission of Restored Hope Ministries is “to rescue, restore and heal women and their children to normal lives who have been affected by the adverse conditions of life that include sexual exploitation and trafficking, human slavery, sexual abuse, poverty, domestic violence, and interaction with the criminal justice system”¹. Their program is for the women and their children to focus on putting back together and restoring the parent-child relationship and is divided into two phases: restoration and empowerment. The duration of the program is 12 to 18-months and consists of housing, food, and all basic necessities required for their protection and security. The women live in transitional housing with a spiritual & physical self-help program. The women have the opportunity to learn about computer skills, financial and budget courses, legal, medical and dental services, dance and exercise classes. During the program and until beyond graduation, the women have a mentor and a professional counselor to guide them through their new life.
